Mogis was born from the mind of its founder and visionary Forrest Pollock. After the blight of the pandemic he was inspired to write. He crafted more than an albums worth of songs alone in his apartment with nothing but his laptop. For those early demos he played guitars, bass, synth, vocals and programmed drums. 

  The songs Forrest wrote for the album are a mix of his influences. Blending genres and soundscapes from Pink Floyd inspired synth to alternative rock, death, sludge and doom metal.
